We go to this library every week. Ms Bobby classes on Tuesday mornings are great! Very interactive and educational. Always looking forward to this class and the playtime afterwards.
My kids love this library !!
I love libraries! This may be an oldie, but it's a goodie. The staff is a friendly group of lovely people. It's a wonderful way for me to explore and while away the afternoon.
When the kids were young, we would bring a big bag and load up on books. Had to limit their books because the bag was heavy, real heavy. I credit the library with their love of books today. So many young people these days are reading on Kindles. Mine do, too, but still enjoy reading real books, pages and all!
Recently went to my first adult coloring night there. It was a small but fun group! There were snacks and cute pages to color. We all got along and chatted as we colored. I love all kinds of art and it was very relaxing to color, munch and chat. Rosie, our very sweet librarian host, even showed us papier mache animals from another library event.
The surprise was that everyone was given the choice of a free book from a book cart - what a wonderful event at the library! It is sponsored by the Friends of the Library.
Consider spending more time at your local library. I think you'll be glad you did!
A notable example of why public libraries are one of society’s greatest treasures. ❤️
Librarians who’ve helped me have been genuinely kind, knowledgable, and patient. Fort Bend County Libraries have truly remarkable and sprawling online, tangible, educational, and entertainment resources.
They also have lots of events ranging from financial literacy for all ages, computer courses, coloring book time, crafts, college financing, etc. Each location’s calendar of events is easy to find online.
Quiet and lots of rooms, places for studying. Staff are nice and helpful. Great collections of books, tapes. There is a section for used book purchase with price from 10 cents to 1 dollar/book where you can find children books, cook books, magazines, and even best sellers there.
Connect. Discover. Share. Get the most out of your experience with a personalized all-access pass to everything local on events, music, restaurants, news and more.
