Dr Bao is well-experienced and very knowledgeable. I was a soft contact lens user for more than 10 years. In the last few years of being a soft lens user, I started to develop mild dry eye symptoms and always had difficulty taking my lens off due to the lack of moisture causing the lens to be stuck to my eyes. My astigmatism and vision also progressed drastically worse every year. I visited Dr Bao per my boyfriend’s recommendation to hopefully slow down the progression. Dr Bao recommended me using hard contact lens. After a week of adjustment according to her suggestion of few hours of use per day, I found the hard lens more comfortable and provided me with clear vision that soft lens or glasses could not. I was also finally able to figure out what caused my migraine: whenever I was using soft lens for more than 4 hours, migraine was triggered. 1.5 years of using hard lens and haven’t experienced similar migraine. The progression of my vision also stopped. None of the eye doctors I visited before ever suggested the use of hard lens, even when I was asking for solution to slow down the progression. I’m so thankful for Dr Bao and her team!
