I recently toured the facility with my 80 year old mother and was extremely impressed. Even my 8 year old though it was a Hotel Resort that we were booking a family vacation at. They had top of the line amenities and the Therapy Rehab Gym was filled with the latest equipment. The dining rooms were light up from the ocean sunlight view and was 5 a star Dining experience. My mother and father would be happy to reside here!!
Recently had the opportunity to tour this facility. Only word to describe is impressive. This is the place I would like to have my mother to reside. I tasted quality food and experienced wonderful care by the staff. Particularly noteworthy was depth of upkeep of the total facility. Everything was clean and as noted very modern in its approach to patient care. Somebody in management has hired a real professional to oversee the facility because they obviously know what they’re doing to ensure total quality care for all residents.
The Meridian is a great place if you are considering an independent, assisted or full care retirement community for you or a loved one. The staff is both caring and committed to only the best quality of care provided to the residents. There is an excellent physical therapy department with an impressive track record of assisting patients to a quick recovery. The housekeeping department received a perfect inspection report. The food is carefully prepared and tastes really good too. I can't say enough wonderful things about this place. You should definitely check it out!
I've worked in a couple of facilities and under different managements and I find the Meridian tops them all. The constant desire both by the management and staff to improve in every facet of the service is inspiring. The latest development most evident is the food service. Changes have been instituted for better tasting and nutritional provisions of the food served. Physical improvements are well underway in different departments. The staff are geared toward more meaningful care of the residents. Dedication and commitment to serve defines what the new Meridian is now.
I stay in the IL very beautiful accommodations! Beautiful clean Apartments! Great staff very caring. Directly across the street from the Seawall beautiful view! Under new director! Best therapy gym on the island. Be on vacation everyday!! 5 stars!!
