He called back within the hour, was kind and courteous, got to us the same day, and fixed our problem quickly!
We would be happy to call on him again if we need to.
Call him now. Jerry came by on a Sunday and tried all the tricks to get our fridge up and running. He did a bypass on the thermometer to test a theory before replacing it, because he said there's a chance it's the compressor. He's following up with us tomorrow to see if the trick worked and if so, he'll be back to replace the thermostat. If it doesn't work then that means there's something bigger wrong and we probably need to a buy a new fridge. He wouldn't except payment until he figured out what the problem is and I very much appreciate him trying to find a solution before just installing the potential fix. Jerry is kind, knowledgeable and knows his stuff. I'm very thankful to have him on my list a service providers.
Update: his theory was right. He came the next day and replaced the thermostat. Reasonable fee, great service.

Mr. Slayton was out, promptly, and diagnosed my garbage disposal as being in need of a plumber. Very nice and professional gentleman, didn't charge me a dime!
Called Jerry and he responded by phone in short time period. Very informative and extremely pleasant over the telephone. Came out and did a superb job of not only repairing my immediate problem of no heated air but changed out drum cable and pulley as well and much cheaper than everyone else. I will always use this guy because he is FIRST CLASS!!
