  Very reasonable pricing for the food options. Great staff who are always friendly. The thing that made me think was the wait for the drinks. My waiter took about 5 to 7 minutes for my water. It wasn’t even busy that night, but I’ll let it slide. I highly recommend it!

  First time at akimi last night and it was really good! We got so much food for our money, it was great. The sushi was nice and fluffy. I got the general tsos chicken and it was good. The fries rice side was nice and a little sticky too, so easy to grab with chopsticks. My husband got the pad Thai and they were able to customize it for him and make it with tofu instead of meat. The waiter even asked if he still wanted the egg which was very considerate, since he could've been vegan! Overall a good experience and we would come back. I do want to try the build your own stir fry some time. The one downside is that the restaurant smelled a little like cleaning supplies, but o guess you know it's clean then?

  Tasty sushi. I really like the Shaggy Dog Signature roll, hand roll Spider Roll and hot Green tea. My friend had one of the noodle bowls and enjoyed it too. Waiter was nice, but a bit slow. Moderately priced.

  This is our favorite local sushi spot. Great happy hour deals, great service, tasty sushi. We typically order take out and eat at home. Oh, and the hot and sour soup is wonderful! They do it right. You can't beat the price for the quality, either. We love this place.
