  Kingwood Park High School is an amazing place for students to build their characters and begin taking the steps they need to be successful in their upcoming adulthood. A majority of the teachers are some of the nicest people when you get to know them well, all of the comments saying the teachers are bad were probably students who never tried in class because they had no motivation or pressure to do well in school. The student body is an extremely supportive family. You make friends and family in high school by involving yourself in extracurricular activities, the activities teach you discipline and hard work and Kingwood Park has so many opportunities for their students. The APs care about the students no matter how much the students disagree, wearing your ID is necessary for emergency purposes and it is part of what the APs get paid for to get on to you about wearing it. They are doing the job that needs to be done but the students cannot see that for some reason. Regarding the reviews saying that the student body is rude and disrespectful to their peers, you need to find a club, organization, or sport to join. The programs offered at k park will immediately take you in and treat you as family, this provides you with a strong group of motivated people to be around. Overall, Kingwood Park High School provides an environment going above and beyond for the well being of their students. This is the complete truth about this school. Shoutout Mrs. Rasberry, she is an incredible person and teacher.

  As a senior here at KPark, I'm grateful I go to this school. The students and teachers are overall friendly and I'm always impressed with the opportunities offered. The sports are well-acclaimed, the students in fine arts are talented, and the STEM classes have wonderful teachers who want the students to succeed. The school also offers as a variety of certification classes (such as for AutoCAD) and teaches other skills outside of the basic core classes. The school is continuing to get better through renovations and new classes. Sure, the classes are difficult but it helps the students be prepared for college and challenges us to do better.
  School is for opportunity and education, and Kpark offers both.
