(April 9, 2018, 11:04 pm)The arboretum lake is really more of a pond, but it's a pleasant place to watch the turtles bobbing among the water lilies. There are park benches and boardwalks at various spots around the lake so if it isn't too crowded, there's an opportunity take in the beauty and do some meditating. The unpaved trails leading up to the lake are serene and natural, and the woods grow into a shady canopy. All around the lake are wildflowers and brambles with raspberries and blueberries. I didn't see many birds but I imagine that there are good birding opportunities here.
