(September 4, 2018, 6:39 pm)not sure where all the negative comments come from. there are pros and cons as any other complex no matter where you go. the location of the apartments is perfect if you like to do outdoors stuff (park, museums,zoo, gardens) all within walking distance. bars and restaurants are all within a 5-10 minute drive. not to mention the metro rails station which is 6 blocks away and takes you to downtown or any of the stadiums.
The apartments are clean for the most part, pools and gym are well maintained and residents are generally easy going and polite to each other.
managements is fine. not the best I have seen but not so bad where I have to complain about it. the maintenance requests do take a while sometimes but if you call they will resolve ASAP.
There have been some security concerns as far as car break-ins in the garage but you if you take the proper precautions as not to leave valuables in your car in plain view, then there would be no break-ins. We make sure to to leave anything in our car and have never been broken into. gotta have some common sense here people. there is a not so nice neighborhood a few blocks away across hwy 288 and it only makes sense to take some precautions no matter how secure your complex is.
Price is decent given that this is an expensive area. I rented towards the end of the year which is when prices are generally at their lowest.
In general, we love it here and will most likely sign a new lease for another year. You cant expect to have a perfect place to live in. that is just not realist. -
