  Benny's is what you would expect from a seafood place in this area. A lot of good fried food on the menu, seasoned well. I ordered the whole catfish on my last visit for the first time and was surprised that it really was a WHOLE catfish, bones and all. Not something you would typically see, but it tasted great and was a large amount of food. The prices are around average, maybe a bit high. The seating is crowded inside, but they have a nice covered outside deck.

  Top 10 oyster dives in Houston! Right off 45! 20 bucks for 12 big gulf oysters! From standards like fried shrimp and catfish to specialty baked oysters and scallop kabobs, this place has it all! Portions, quality and price! Great cornbread breading for the fried options. Lots of variety. I seriously cant reccomend this place enough for all around seafood.
  
  It's not luxury or fine dining. It's a boat with enough seating for maybe 50. Its casual and fun. Great staff. Friendly and attentive.
  
  Again, if you are in the mood for seafood and driving down 45, you HAVE to stop by.

  This is mine and my hubby's go-to dinner spot! We love these guys, the atmosphere and the food. They have The Best micheladas too. The shrimp, whether fried, grilled or boiled, is always fresh and tasty. The oysters are as well. Their red sauce is great and the have plenty of horseradish on hand to add spice. I always get a cup of seafood gumbo is nothing else. It's hot and delicious every single time! They've always got the popular game on and the wait staff is happy to talk sports. They have limited indoor seating but the covered patio is always a lively spot to dine. The real deal!

  Great place. Very friendly service. Fast and warm food. Clean and great views. Can't wait to try there crayfish here
