This is an oasis. There is an orchard, a greenhouse, flower gardens, native plants, all kinds of vegetables. There are 4 plant sales per year from
February through May. So easy! Just check Facebook for dates, go to the link and order online. There is curbside pickup for your order and there are friendly, knowledgeable Master Gardeners there to help. Go see!
What a wonderful garden. I go to view the trial plants and vegetables that the Harris County Master Gardeners work on behalf of the Texas A&M AgriLife agents. It’s an excellent place to learn and ask questions. Also, lots of the vegetables they grow are donated to the Heights Interfaith Ministries Food Pantry.
Beautiful garden maintained by Harris County Master Gardeners! If you get a chance to visit when Master Gardeners are there, ask them a question! They are a wealth of information.
I visit the Genoa Friendship Gardens nearly every month to see the trial gardens they run in support of Texas A&M. It's fun to see what they're planting and when. And back in June, they had a corpse flower blooming - very rare! This is a great place to learn about gardening.
This Garden is a great Learning center that literally grows every year. Thoughtful planning and experimenting with new and different plants, trees and shrubbery. Look forward to the location being open again to the public.
