  We love this school! We started our little boy at 2 years old, and unfortunately are relocating out of state and thus have to say goodbye to these wonderful people. Our experience with Pilgrim Lutheran has been top notch. When our 2 year old first started, he wasn't talking yet. The developmental leaps he has made there are amazing. Over this last year, his speech has improved immensely, and the socialization has been amazing. He loves going to school and seeing his buddies. They also offer cool programs for the little ones to be a part of, like Sensory Stars, Tumble Tykes, Jump Bunch, Spanish lessons and Junior Athlete. He has been in Miss Felicia and Miss Maggie's class and absolutely adores them. They are excellent teachers and truly care about your child. They are so patient! I don't know how they do it with a classroom full of little ones, but they are always smiling. My almost 3 year old now knows his ABC's, can count from 1-10, knows his colors, animals, and can sing many songs. He is also now stringing together 4-5 word sentences. I am so pleased with his progress, which wouldn't have been possible without the help of his awesome teachers and the excellent staff there. It's tough to entrust your children to a new place, but I highly recommend Pilgrim Lutheran School!

  Many people living in surrounding neighborhoods, such as Meyerland, Bellaire and West University, have been hearing and talking about the extraordinary great Early Childhood program at Pilgrim, there's of course no doubt about it! That's why their classes are filled up fast. However, don't forget about their Grade School program, that is also VERY awesome and academically advanced! Many graduates end up going to prestigious schools such as MIT, Rice Uni, UT...etc. Their grade teachers are equally loving and caring as the Early Childhood teachers, yet they are very talented to instill knowledge and challenge the kids! I just ❤️ it.

  This year, we faced one of the most important decisions a parent can make for their young one: where to send him for Kindergarten. It was a tough choice. After a lot of research and a couple admission tests, we narrowed it down to two choices: Pilgrim and a prestigious Catholic school we had been admitted to. In my mind, I was leaning towards the Catholic school because of its reputation and apparent strong academics. In my heart though, I wanted Pilgrim. And I am so happy I followed it.
  
  Nothing compares to the warmth and the kindness with which Pilgrim families and staff welcomed me and my family. We felt right at home, and what's more important, my child did too. There were no tears on the first day, no pouting, no anxiety...and it only got better from there.
  
  My child's self confidence has grown tremendously, his reading level is impressive for his age, and his hand-writing is looking better than mine. His class is small (only 15 kids!); he knows all of his classmates by name, and he loves his teacher. He tells me his teacher asks them every day what they would like to pray for, and they all pray together as a class. That is priceless!! I am very pleased with the choice I made, and I can't wait to see what the future holds for him at Pilgrim. I just couldn't be happier.

  Amazing staff and school. Our 2 year old learned so much and gained so much confidence in this program. I highly recommend this school to anyone. You just won't be disappointed!
