Cypress Golf Academy

This program has been incredible for my son and daughter! They do a great job on putting all the games together to make it engaging for the kids. My kids really love going every week and want to continue being a part of it every month. They also a great job at milestones and goals to keep the kids improving and pushing themselves.

Cypress academy offers Operation 36 for Junior Golf and is an amazing approach to introducing golf to kids. The operation 36 strategy makes short game critical to success and has the kids putting and chipping first in order to graduate out to farther distances away from the cup. Coach Chris and the team are amazing communicators and provide a stress-free, fun environment for the kids that builds trust and confidence as their foundation. I couldn’t be happier for the growth I’ve seen for my kid and he will definitely be a part of the Cypress Golf Academy for years to come!

Coach Chris and his crew are professional and fun. We looked a while for a place for our son to have quality golf lessons and have been thoroughly impressed with Cypress Golf Academy. The cost is reasonable and Coach does a great job of communicating with the entire Academy and to us individually. We have seen our son's skills improve, his confidence level increase. What else can you ask for!

Cypress Golf Academy is the best place to introduce a kid to golf. Our daughter started with Birdie Basics when she was 5 and due to the approach taken by the coaches, she was immediately drawn to golf. The coaches at the academy focus on developing the interest in the game from the beginning. Operation 36 is a great program building competitiveness from the the start (kids start at the 25 yard line and graduate to 50, 100, ...). Coaches Chris and Rachel have great personalities and kids immediately gravitate to them. Coach Chris is also a great golf instructor for both juniors and adults. He has helped me drop my handicap by 6 strokes in about a year. We would recommend Cypress Golf Academy to anyone in the Houston area who is looking to introduce their kids to golf.

The youth program (Operation 36) at Cypress Golf Academy is great. It is well thought out and teaches golf from the green and back. The practices keep the kids engaged and having fun. There are multiple stations and competitions each week, never just stale technical instructions from instructors. The events are fantastic as well and give the kids a taste of golf tournaments / competition. The kids have a great time with kids their age / skill level. I can't recommend Cypress Golf Academy high enough.
