(January 22, 2019, 8:57 am)I have gone to Westbury for over 25 years with several dogs and cats. Even after I moved to Alvin 10 years ago I have found Westbury more reliable and actually more reasonable for similar services than the Alvin vets. I have had to utilize the emergency services several times. ( more than I wish I had). Each time they have been overwhelming considerate and attentive. Doctor has always been there when I call to say I am on way in. Knowing someone is there 24/7 to watch the patients is important to me.
They are our routine vets as well as the emergency ones. I recommend them highly. -

12/24/18 UPDATE
I recently took my dog to see Dr. Cooper and he was very great - very thorough and attentive. He pointed at a health issue that my dog's regular vet missed entirely. Hence the updated rating. -

(December 22, 2018, 9:23 am)We have been taking our dogs to this clinic for at least 10 years, and I have been consistently satisfied with the care they (and I!) receive. We currently see Dr. Jeff Chalkley, and I cannot say enough good things about him. He regularly goes above and beyond with responses to emails and telephone calls - and he is a superior diagnostician. He has taken many, many extra steps to make sure our dogs get the best care, and I am always grateful for the 24-hour service the clinic provides so that when one of my dogs has an emergency, he/she can go to a clinic that knows us and is nearby. Highly recommend this clinic and Dr. Chalkley.
