  Brought my boys here and they had a fantastic introductory class to fencing. Coach Benoit is unbelievable with the students, which isn't surprising after I found out he is the former fencing coach for Team USA. We will certainly be back for more.

  Great club, very knowledgable coaches, brand new location / facility I drive over an hour just to fence there, it's worth it !

  The facilities are top notch! Equipment is in great condition & clean! Coaches exude passion and have years of experience in all specialties and have trained USA Olympians and Paralympic Athletes!

  This is an amazing fencing school! My son (now 16 y) is with them since their beginning and he loves it! Dan and Liz and all the other coaches have many years of experience in both: fencing and coaching. They are great role models, always fair and nice (and often funny). Besides fencing they teach an attitude of sportmanship and a love for this sport.
  
  What makes Houston Sword Sports different from other fencing schools that we had attended in the years prior to joining them, is that they really care about their students and teach them a lot already in the regular lessons. In other fencing schools we had the experience that there was only very little, basic instructions and if you wanted more instructions, you had to pay for private lessons. Though private lessons are offered at Houston Sword Sports, too, I see then more as an addition i.e. for preparing for a tournament, than as the only way to get instructed in this sport.
  I also love how well equipted they are. The kids can basically come in their tennis shoes and shorts and everything else they need for fencing is provided!
  My son is entirely happy with this fencing school, he is always looking forward to going there and leaves with a happy smile on his face every time (it hadn't been like that in his previous fencing school). It is sport and fun and the kids are all great! Do I have to mention that fencing is a great and - believe it or not- very safe sport? In the many years of fencing my son never had any injuries ... but be prepared for some tiny little bruises at the legs every now and then.
