(March 13, 2019, 12:09 pm)Mossy Oaks Retreat Assisted Living redefines the meaning of “care” in Assisted Living. The owners and staff go above and beyond what is necessary for the health and welfare of your loved one. We moved my mother-in-law to Mossy Oaks in January (from another personal care home )and have found the care, kindness and quality of the facility and food to all be superlative. After looking at other assisted living facilities and personal care homes, we didn’t think we would ever find a place as nice as Mossy Oaks and are truly grateful for all they do.

My dad's health has declined over the last year and I prayed for a safe place for him to live. I am so thankful that I found this place. My dad has only been there for a short while but he is already showing much improvement. He told me that are treating him like royalty! I don't typically write reviews but I cannot say enough positive things about my experience so far. If you are looking for a warm, caring place with very knowledgeable caregivers for either yourself or your loved one, you can rest assured this is the best place you will ever find!

I wanted to give an update since my last review. My dad has now been at Mossy Oaks for one year. He has actually shown some improvement in his overall health and seems happy which makes me happy. I can't even begin thank Abi, Cristian, Brenda and Yemmy for taking such good care of him. It has eliminated a lot of stress from my life and it is so good to know he is getting the best care possible. This by far is the best care you can get for your loved one if you are not able to care for them yourself. -

(August 27, 2018, 1:01 pm)Mossy Oaks Retreat has provided exceptional care for my 85-year old mother who has been a resident at the facility since June 2018. I have been deeply impressed during this time by the professionalism, compassion and exceptional attentiveness which staff have shown towards her. This is by far the nicest facility of its kind which I have visited. The public and private spaces have been recently renovated and provide views of a beautiful garden and mature woodland. It is a truly peaceful setting, fittingly called a retreat. I can recommend it without reservation.

They are dedicated, also have professional medical experience, and are sincerely interested in the well being of those in their care. There may be many options for senior care, but I believe this home should be at the top of the list!
