I been in many homes & boys ranches, this is the best by far, a recipe with the perfect ingredients & mixture very patient and caring staff with teaching of responsibility little ruff love exploring nature as the boys rebuild their Heart and souls, I'm living proof it works. I was 14 then I'm 55 now 41 years later still puts a lump in my throat in a soft spot in my heart when I think about Darden Hills Boys Ranch, it's truly amazing and unbelievable how two people had a dream in their heart and took their land and turn it in to something for hundreds and hundreds of children to benefit from and devoted their whole lives making a difference in young children lies teaching them to grow love and be caring adults I don't know how to describe them there's no words for Rose and Charlie as there are thoughts and beliefs and they're teaching lasted me a lifetime as I have seven foster kids myself, I have so many wonderful stories about the ranch as of a lot of the other boys that was there in my time, not sure how they did it they handpicked each and every staff member and they was all great of course when you're a young kid it don't seem so great when you don't get your way lol but nevertheless it was a truly great experience and a part of my childhood that brings me happy memories.
