Really tasty empanadas! They had two vegan options but unfortunately only the Indian style one was available. It was sooo delicious! The green sauce it comes with for dipping is really delicious too. The crust is good, I prefer it to be a bit more flakey but the stuffing is really good and deserves 5 stars.

These are the best empanadas I’ve had in my life! Let me repeat, the best empanadas I’ve had in my life. We went to the farmers market on mueller one morning and now we find any excuse to go Sunday morning and get these bad boys!

These are wonderful, and I love that they are baked, not fried. They are so great we serve them at Tejas Winery in Hye!

Delicious, authentic flavor, generous fillings! I found their stand at the Sunday Mueller Farmers market, and I got on Peruvian Aji de Gallina empanada. It was very tasty, and I will definitely try more flavors in the future.

We bike to the SFC (Sustainable Food Center) Farmer’s Market in downtown Austin on Saturdays, and we are sure to stop at the YAPA booth. I’ve tried the Conquistadora (Chilean), Peruvian Chhicken, and Smoked bacon, egg & cheese. I love them all, but the Peruvian Chicken is my favorite so far. I am sure to go back and try the rest. Two are more than enough for a meal. We usually buy six and Keep them on hand for quick and simple meals during the week. Heat them in the oven for 20 minutes rather than the microwave to keep the crust firm and the points crispy. Unfortunately, I forgot to take photos, but they are meticulously prepared. Next time I will bring a small, insulated bag to bring them home. They are reasonably priced at $6 each.
