Steve Weldon, owner of the Texan Car Wash is more than a business owner. He cares, he shows you how to use the equipment and he cares about the people he serves. When something goes down, he’s right there fixing it. His value in the amount of time you get to wash your car on the manual is 3x the length of time for your money you get at other car washes. He keeps the property clean and his automatic is stellar. He keeps improving and does what he can to make your experience great! He is Texan Proud!

We moved near Wimberley last year and WOW the onslaught of spring dust and pollen on my car is horrible! I discovered Texan Car Wash and love it- the line was too long for the automatic so I just used the self-wash. I haven't done self-wash in long time, but it was quick and convenient. After soaping up my car and thoroughly using the rinse cycle, I DID NOT have a problem with spots on my car and all of the yellow dust came off easily. I thought I may have an issue with payment because I was impatient and swiped my credit card more than once, but after the initial $10 hold appeared the next day or so that disappeared and the actual charge of $6 (or $7?) went through on my card. I knew if the charge came out to a million dollars I was confident I could call the owner and he would correct it (after reading other reviews). I honestly think if you just give it a little time the charge situation will work itself out on its own (usually/probably/in most cases). I love this little carwash and feel so lucky to be able to whip in and deal with my car any time instead of having to drive to San Marcos. I'll be coming here A LOT for sure. Totally recommend Texan Car Wash!

I haven’t been to a self-wash in years however the recent moth migration had my car beyond what I could stand. Didn’t figure the drive through would get it clean so I stopped here.

Such a nice business! Payment area was in good working order and easy to figure out. All the wands and handles worked great and there was even a dryer option. It worked very well to avoid water spots even though I rushed because there was someone waiting behind me. Their pre-soak made quick work of the bugs on the front of my car.
