Green pastures, highly qualified instruction and no drama make this facility top notch and a pleasure to visit. Suzanne has the experience, ambition and horsemanship skills to train green horses and correct undesirable behaviors in older ones to bring your horse to their fullest potential. Suzanne has earned our respect and admiration as a trainer and I find her to be trustworthy and competent in the management of her barn and equine business. I highly recommend Bel Canto Farms.

I have been riding with Suzanne at Bel Canto Farms for almost a month. She has a really impressive way of being able to connect with where I am struggling, and reframe the action. This makes it easy for me to find ways to improve my riding skills. She is interested in forming strong riders from the basics up instead of just pushing forward without a strong foundation. This has been ride changing for me. I rode as a child and took 32 or so lessons last year at other stables. I feel as though in the 3 lessons I have had with her so far I have grown more than all of last year. The best part about riding with Suzanne is that she is an English rider herself, so everything she is explaining comes from her own experiences rather than just an understanding of the riding style. I recommend her a hundred times over.

My wife and I have been hearing about how amazing the horse camp is for kiddos at Bel Canto. We have two boys, ages 5 and 7. I can say, it definitely exceeded our expectations. They had lots of opportunities to ride and there was plenty of professional supervision. It was a real treat for them and they had tons of fun. There was lots of crafts, horseshoe painting (which they got to keep) and they even got to paint one of the ponies with water colors! There was even a woman there who brought violins for the children to play which they loved. They had a ball and we'll definitely be signing them up again next year.

My girls just loved summer camp. A great place to send your kids. Suzanne puts a lot of time and effort into camp. I can assure you it shows!

My girls also take riding lessons from her. They had been at a different barn and were not getting anywhere. After coming to Suzanne each lesson they improved and expanded on what they were doing. She has a real gift of teaching. The kids are excited every week to ride and they also see their own improvement. She treats the kids as if they were her own. She's a FANTASTIC instructor! Well worth the money!
