Granbury City Beach Park

Great local beach area to take the kids and have a nice family day. Get there early if you want a covered pavilion or table. No glass, no alcohol, no open flames, no dogs... and there's a cop there writing tickets so be careful if you're trying to sneak it in.

Fun, laid back, cool place to go on a hot sunny day!! I love the small town feel. Good place to take the kids! I wish the beach wasn’t so dirty & a bit more to do but it’s nice!

Beautiful and clean beach with a nice long boardwalk to enjoy the gorgeous views. The entire park is very family friendly. There is plenty of parking space. The beach is right next to the downtown square. There is also a nice shower area to clean up after the swim.

Very nice clean sandy beach! Very safe, water has sand bottom so water shoes not necessary. No alcohol, dogs, or grills - kind of a bummer. Very much like a playground at a city park in terms of super family friendly, not like your typical North Texas lake beach with tons of people partying balls. Very, very great for little kiddos.

Splash pad is awesome! My younger grandkids loved the splash pad and playing in the sand while the older ones loved swimming in the lake. Just have to watch out for goose poo!
