(October 5, 2021, 10:17 am)Fantastic getaway from busy urban chaos. Short drive from Dallas area. We loved our tree house (Majestic Oak) and would not hesitate to recommend to anyone. All the comforts of home in a tree house. If you like being in nature, you will love this place. Ron and Susan are great hosts.

(October 3, 2021, 5:33 pm)We stayed at the bare creek treehouse, definitely a bucket list item to stay and wake "in the trees". Susan, Rob, and the farm animals are so accommodating. We enjoyed the trails, bike, and canoe. Definitely recommend a one day trip here.

(April 13, 2021, 1:37 pm)After our year reservation we had an incredibly unique experience that everyone should have! So why only 4 stars? I took one off only because of what might be considered "just our luck". There were so many positives to this experience that I hate to mention anything to the contrary but I will in the hopes that it improves your visit. The first thing is- make sure you have a buff ( like Survivor contestants) and have ear plugs on hand. It is comparable to sleeping outside. Secondly, we cut our visit short by a whole day & night because there's an airport nearby and we experienced, what the owner Susan suggested, was a military transport of all of their helicopters, jets and planes which went on all night & into the early morning. We knew it was too late for a refund but with the noise, possible storms and bugs we decided sleep was more important and left. The owner's are great, the animals are fun, walking around was nice and we did star gaze on the outdoor trampoline style balcony. Do not jump on this though... it is just used for gazing only. If you take kids be on the lookout, it is a treehouse. I wouldn't lean on any railings or leave any windows open either. There is central air, electricity and water. My recommendation is to try this for at least one day & night.

(September 1, 2018, 8:27 pm)Absolutely loved it! It was a pleasant surprise by my boyfriend to stay in the Majestic suite for an evening. Fantastic little getaway from the city. Best part...the bedroom because you can lift the side walls up and see nothing but white drapes, trees and sounds of nature. Definitely going back.

There was a beautiful chapel back in the woods, a little bit away from the noise of the parking lot, then there was a stage for the DJ or band next to the dance floor and lots of tables in a little pavilion area and restrooms indoors.
