If you are looking to take back control of your birth story then Melody is for you. She is very personable and can warm to many personality types. She is active and deliberate in her continuing education around all things midwifery.
She is not for everyone.
She will NOT tell you what you should do when decisions are to be made...but she will inform you of repercussions and (maybe more importantly) alternatives. Melody empowers people to make the best decision for themselves by providing knowledge and experiences she has personally collected.
Melody is willing to have the difficult conversations so her clients know the potential outcomes of decisions made.
Melody treats the whole client the WHOLE time you are in her care. She treats mind and body where/when needs arise. She is engaging and cares about finding out your wants and needs through the entire pregnancy and then supporting you in making it reality.
In short, if you are looking to connect with a physician on a deeper level than "How are you feeling?" twice a month then take a long look at securing Melody as your midwife. You might get lucky enough to birth your child with a friend instead of a stranger in the room.
We were (and are) very lucky to have her. She will always be a blessing associated with our son.
Melody is truly amazing! My previous midwife moved out of state and I was given her number. I didn't interview any other midwives after I met with her! Her level of care during prenatal visits was above and beyond and she is so genuine. Her intuition is spot on too, her experience shines through and we were very confident to birth with her every step of the way. Our third child was a 7 hour labor and a wonderful home birth. I love the personal nature of using a midwife rather than an OB, and Melody will be our midwife if/when we have more children!!
The best care I have ever received from a provider!! Melody takes her time during all appointments to ensure both physical and emotional well-being are doing good. She provided answers to any and all questions I had. Such a wonderful experience getting to birth with Melody. What a different experience having one provider for the entirety of my pregnancy and birth. I will continue to use Melody for all of my future needs and births. 100% recommended Midwife Melody Morrow!!!!
I have loved having Melody as my midwife and I highly recommend her services. She is very knowledgeable and will take the time to offer quality care all throughout your pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. She is a good listener and will answer your questions or do research to help find answers for you. She is a kind and compassionate person who is willing to invest above and beyond in her clients. She is trustworthy. Melody has provided the support and encouragement Ive needed in labor and delivery and I’m thankful for her care.
We attended Melody’s Birth Boot Camp class series during our first pregnancy. Both my husband and I loved the course! Melody is an expert on everything childbirth. I would trust her 100% with delivering my babies. I really appreciated that she kept up-to-date on current midwifery research and presented each child birth topic with evidence-based research. My husband also felt very welcomed in her class and appreciated how Melody stressed the importance of your partner’s support. He felt valued and needed during our pregnancy, and he knew exactly how to support me during labor. We not only left her class feeling prepared for the birth of our daughter and the “4th” trimester, but we also left with lifelong friendships. I highly recommend Melody to anyone, whether it’s their first pregnancy or last. She is warm, caring, and is always thinking about what is best for you and your baby.
