Historic Oakville Jailhouse Inn & Guesthouses

We just saw the sign and drove in! We loved it! We wished it was open. Just seeing all the grounds makes us want to see the rooms inside!! We'd love to have a family reunion here!!

We hosted our family reunion at this venue. We had all of the houses occupied and the meals and activities took place in the barn. Everyone loved the decor, which helped make this reunion a fabulous success. This venue would be wonderful for a wedding, a group retreat, or a reunion like ours.The owners are awesome, very sweet people. They were very accommodating and insured all of our needs were met.

Very nice historical place. We visited on a Saturday, but everything was closed up. Maybe we will try again on a weekday. Would recommend it to anyone. Nice place to visit.

Accidentally found this place yesterday while traveling. It was a magical surprise. A little old ghost town on the side of the highway. It kinda reminds me of a mini version of old Tucson. They just need some live actors walking around. Cute place. Will visit again to see the improvements they are currently working on.

This place is amazing, it's a little treasure right outside San Antonio! This is a historic jail house which was converted into a Inn! The owners did an amazing job at doing it and preserved a lot of the features, from the walls to the old metal stair case. The area right around the inn is cute and amazing as well. The owners brought in a lot of the original homes of Oakville and preserved them. The area features great sleeping quarters, great wedding features, and much more!! I would highly recommend having a wedding here or even a family reunion! We were lucky and ran into the owners and they are some of the nicest people you could meet! Definitely a place to go see and stay if you want a nice unique experience.
