R. B. Tullis Branch Library

Tullis is our favorite local library. It has a wonderful children's section, lots of great events, an engaging adult book club and friendly staff. Our kids always feel welcome; our youngest child was even spontaneously invited to play along in a Christmas program (see photo).

I especially enjoy the adult book club, which meets on the 2nd Wed a.m. of the month. It's an opinionated, well-read, welcoming group of folks from a variety of walks of life.

This is by far the best library in Montgomery County. The staff is extremely nice, the summer & kids activities are awesome. This is our favorite library❤️❤️

First of all, I just had to take my children to this library. The scenery from the highway is definitely an eye catcher. 📸

It was our first time here and I can say we all enjoyed it.

The children's section is very large, nice, and clean. Not only do they have books but they are computers, personal restroom, individual room that was closed ( not sure what it was used for but still nice to see). And stairs that lead up to the Teen/Adult area. If you have any questions their is a children's librarian right there in the children's section to assist you.

Upstairs was nice. There's a huge study section with tables and chairs. On top of that it faces the nice outside scenery. It's a great area to read, work, study, or write.

Upstairs also has librarians to assist you. And a large selection of books. They have DVDs/Movies for check out. And a few events for the kiddos.

I think it's a great place for not only adults but kids too.

There were a few surprises that I didn't expect was #1 the self checkout was out of order #2 this library still used the old stock card with the return date library check out system. I'm not disappointed but surprised. And #3 when we were all checked out they gave the kids a balance on how much money they saved if we were to go and purchase those books. My kids thought that was so cool!🤣

In addition to all this, 2 weeks later our books are due. The library has automatically renewed some of our books which I think is cool and very convenient.

And they provided me with a list of books that we had initially checked out and needs to be returned. I find that very helpful when your checking out a ton of books for you and the kiddos.

Oh yeah and they have a small store. That's pretty cool. Great peaceful place.

I always love going to this library. It's always nice and peaceful. Today I was able to get the physical copies of some books I have been wanting to read. One book that they didn't have, I was able to check out through the Libby app and get the ebook.
