Surepoint Emergency Center Padre Island

I’m from Dallas Fort Worth. Somehow managed to cripple myself while here on vacation with a pulled muscle that left me feeling like I was being stabbed to death from the inside. What wasn’t being stabbed or beaten inside was numb outside. On a scale of 1-10 my pain was dilated to a 10 give birth level pain and I was on the floor and couldn’t move. With Port A 911 help I managed to get to the car and arrive at their recommendation here at Surepoint at 2am. This staff helped me from car to room, from absolute misery to feeling like they handed me my life back in the form of one shot with a cocktail of feel well drugs. Sent me off and Rx exactly what I needed. They were 100% pro and 100% kind. And it was not the bank buster I thought I would have. This is no vacation! But they definitely handled me with TLC and “fixed me” as best and fast as they possibly could. Five stars is not enough. Honestly. They are off the chart.

We happened here when my son had been stung by a sting ray. Everyone was so kind, personable, and thorough. They had us back before we could finish the paper work. They even gave my son a parting gift of a little sting ray. Being away from home and finding yourself in the ER on your vacation is not fun, but these people couldn’t have made the experience better.

We are new to the area and had an emergency with my grandfather. We chose Surepoint Emergency Center Padre Island and are very thankful for the service they provided to help my grandfather! His nurse Julie was AMAZING from start to finish and even stayed over two hours after her shift end time in order to find a hospital bed for him to be transferred to (which was very hard due to everything currently going on with Covid-19) Dr. Dorrell was also a great physician at the location and made sure my grandfather was well taken care of. They provided many updates and kept us in the loop with everything from start to finish since he was in there alone. I can’t say enough about the experience and highly recommend this location if you are in need of care.

Had to go there for a sting ray to my wife’s foot. Absolute great service. No worries going to this place. ?
