  As a newcomer to Corpus Christi, we quickly found out we had a lot of work to do with regard to homeowner's insurance. Never before did we have to deal with separate homeowner's and wind/hail coverage. We were blown away (in a bad way) with premium quotes from our (former) go-to companies, such as GEICO and USAA. In fact, those companies weren't particularly knowledgeable in wind and hail coverage...they simply farmed it out to other companies and provided no real explanations.
  
  I tried a few local companies, and while they were certainly knowledgeable, the premiums were still a tad too much.
  
  After perusing the internet, we decided to give Ed Cantu a try. His web presence and reviews were certainly top-notch, so why not? When we popped into the office, we were met by Ms. Robin Vega. She is absolutely everything we could ever want in an insurance rep...friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. She took a lot of time explaining our options and custom-built a complete homeowner's package just for us. The best part? The premiums are several hundred less per year than any of the competition. And in an awesome display of integrity, she pointed out how our current auto insurance carrier could not be beat insofar as the premiums (at this time), so we kept our current carrier (for now). During our second visit, we met Ed. He's every bit as friendly as Robin...and even gave us a copy of his book. Very cool.

  This agency excels in customer service. I recently sold a home. The closing was on June 17. My mortgage company paid my insurance for the next term that started on July 1. They made those payments on June 16. This amounted to over $5,000 in escrow money. Robin went out of her way to contact TWIA and National Flood Insurance to make sure that they had received the payments and to update my new address with them. Ed Cantu Insurance Agency is the best choice for home insurance in Corpus Christi. Thank you Robin for being diligent and professional.

  This company is amazing. I hadn’t had any good customer service up until this point. Ed and his staff were truly helpful. I recommend his company to anyone who is looking for an insurance company.

  This company is one of the best insurance companies in which I have used. The service they have is amazing and the staff including Robin is phenomenal. If i could give it more stars, I would!!
