LOVE THIS PLACE!!!! I want to come here every week. It's so soothing & relaxing out here! Everybody got along even the Dogs, birds, fish and crabs were enjoying themselves. Such a Lovely place. And it only cost $5.00 per person to get in!!! I'm coming back real soon! The bathrooms were clean and well ventilated. They even have an area where you can park your car on the beach and relax that way.
Super cheap and convenient place to get access to the beach. The beach has two access roads for vehicles they recommend 4x4. There was a bit of trash but nothing outrageous. It was windy the whole time we were there. It was a nice stay overall and we'd return in the future. RV spots have their own table and pergolas. Depending on your campsite it will either be behind or in front of your RV. Area is paved for the RVs. Some spots with full hookups are available as well.
Walk to the beach is a little tough as the walkways ate covered with sand.
This park is great! You can drive your car up on the beach and set up a tent. Camping on the beach is allowed. They have both port a potties and bathrooms. This is so convenient! It makes the beach so much more fun! No hauling things to and from the car!!
Great white sand beach. It was clean and the waves were nice enough to boogie board but not too strong. Great for families and I like that you can park your car on the beach. There are no lifeguards and they only have one bathroom near the entrance but do have port-a-potties along the beach.
I want this to be 5 stars, but their showers were broken and they only had cold water, and half of their spots are backward.
It’s really windy at the campground 90% of the time but this area is well known for its high winds so it’s on you if you don’t like it.
Spots have water and electric but beware that every other spot is backward with your Ramada and picnic table behind your camper as opposed to the traditional campsite/passenger side.
Ranger program was great and Eric the Ranger was a rockstar teaching our kiddo and taking us on a rad trip town the beach helping us collect and find interesting gulf treasures (sea-beans!)
Driving and parking/camping on the beach is AMAZING.
