The Gaff

Excellent pizza, very reasonably priced. Rustic pirate themed bar, nothing fancy. Hosts belt sander races twice a month. Also has live music in outdoor bar area behind the bar.

We came to the Gaff several times during our 3 weeks in Port Aransas. That's how much we enjoyed it! They have beer, wine and setups. They bust their butts serving drinks and making pizzas and I have to say the pizza is fantastic! We got to see the Belt sander races, minnow races, the Black-eye Pea Off, and they were even kind enough to put the Vikings game on one of their TV's. This isn't fancy by any means and that's what makes it so much fun!

Looking for giant perfect pizza done in10-15 minutes? Move along, this is not the pizza place you're looking for.... How about really friendly locals that give the same friendly service to tourists as they do their regulars? Then you've found the place. They promote local brew options on tap, love dogs, and serve really good hand made pizza. Talk to the staff and the regulars, they are more than happy to give you the real lowdown on where to go for anything in Port A. Fishing, tours, seafood, best beach area, you name it. Make this place your first stop after you check into your rental.

Such a quaint friendly little tavern on the beach. Their outdoor area in front of and behind the bar is a perfect atmosphere. I was here for the beach bash and Brooke Graham’s live performance. Good beer on tap, friendly staff. All around great place!

Great pizza, colorful ‘dive bar’ atmosphere. Recommend getting a pitcher of beer if there are 3 or 4 of you. Get the ‘Gaff’ pizza…loaded! Can leave a dollar bill signed by you and put on the wall. Fun. BTW, Rocky visited with his human and was greeted in unison by all in the bar. Love it.
