Simms Lumber Do it Best

I've visited Simms on multiple occasions because they are very close to my home so it's convenient and one of their employees is my neighbor. That doesn't in any way sway my reviews though as anyone that knows me can tell you that I call it like I see it. I've always found exactly what I needed at this store. They greet you as if your family. I don't usually ask for a veterans discount when I go in a store but the cashier here saw that I was wearing a cap that had USAF on it and asked for my VA card and applied the discount. I went to 2 of the big name stores that offer veterans discounts and found out that the discount doesn't apply to lumber? Go figure... they are lumber companies. Very friendly atmosphere at this store, they treat you with respect, prices are reasonable, store is always clean. They will get all of my business!

Convenient location with competitive prices.. Courteous folks. A real lumber yard. A hardware store were you can find things without asking directions! When you're tired of using GPS to find your way to the paint aisle this is the place to go.

Love this place! May never go to Home Depot or Lowe's again. The service is great and 90 percent of the time the prices are better. The selection and grade of lumber is always better than the box stores.
