Smoak Town BBQ

Two words: absolutely superb. After an unsuccessful Saturday morning dove hunt, my buddy and I stopped in at 11am opening and were blown away by everything on the menu. Decadently moist peppered brisket, super juicy boozy turkey, and ribs with the perfect bite to them. Not sure what magic ingredient was in that potato salad (sour cream, cream cheese ?), but that was hands down best potato salad I think I've ever had with BBQ. Staff were extremely friendly, and you know we'll be back!

Recommended to us from a town away. It's a food truck on a lot, with several others. Man it was good! We had brisket, ribs, and burnt ends. Little area in the center, with picnic tables for sitting. I would go here all the time, if I was local. Awesome 1000 gallon offset smoker going while we were there.

What a cool spot out in Fate - right off of 30, it's in the heart of downtown in a cool little truck yard. The food is WORTH the trip!

The Pork Belly Burnt Ends are amazing! The Pork Ribs are in my top 5 of all time... Jalapeño Cheddar Sausage is great, Banana Pudding is perfect after a lot of meat, Brisket is TENDER, and the Smoked Turkey is the BEST I've had (which means you actually WANT to order it!). Talked with the owner and his dad during and after and just wish I had something like this down my block - if you live anywhere near Fate (just outside of Rockwall), hell, even if you dont, make the stop!

Outside dining fun for the family. Must try! Flavorful sides and BBQ. Worth the drive. Brisket was awesome and ribs were cook to perfection. We will go back for sure. You have to try the bacon wrapped blueberry cream cheese jalapenos! Unexpected tasty treat!
