After moving here a few years ago we tried several places with no success. My son had never been away from me before and I knew the transition would not be easy. I had looked at several places on both sides of I-30. I was heartbroken. Every place I looked was not good enough. I trusted my gut and kept looking.
Then I found Stepping Stones. From the first day they have been wonderful to our family. The owner Mrs. Talena is amazing. They just added a third day to their program. This place is not only great for moms who will have older siblings at Nebbie Elementary (right across the street), but there are classmates who come from Royce City. Needless to say my son adjusted quickly and they helped BOTH of us feel comfortable. My son has been there for three years now and we are glad we found them! Truly an amazing place!
One of North Rockwall's best-kept secrets. The staff is both kind and passionate about teaching and caring for kids. Our son has gone there for 3 years now, and our daughter will follow in his footsteps. I hope this preschool is around for a long time. Their passion for kids shows in the way our son behaves at home. He goes around the house singing the songs he's picked up there, and doing the motions. He knows all of his teachers and classmates by name, and asks about when he can see them again. He doesn't want to miss a day! He has been learning all kinds of things since we first took him there. Proud to be their first review, though also very surprised.
