You won't have a better excursion than this! WELL WORTH every single penny. Trey and Brandie met us, ON TIME, at the airport and explained our part in taking a ride on the SNJ-4 !! It took a couple hours before I quit smiling from this adventure. Truly amazing and unforgettable. Loved hearing all the history about the warplane and the island, Corpus, etc. Great people, GR8 time. They allowed us to take gobs of pictures and the hangar area kept us cool while we waited for each other to fly (: THANK YOU !! Paula and Mark Collins, San Antonio, HELOTES, Texas Veterans
Great adventure. Flew with a retired Navy Commander fighter pilot with over 500 aircraft carrier landings and take-offs. Trey is versed on the plane and its history and its very interesting. Very through in his pre-flight briefing and smooth in his flight execution. You will be hard pressed to find better credentials if your looking to fly in a vintage WWII aircraft. I had a great time and got some nice memory photos.
Highly recommend this if you're in the area.
Booked a flight over Memorial weekend after looking up things to do in Port A. Once I arrived I got my first view of that awesome historical plane. After meeting the pilot and his family I knew I was in for a treat. We went over some safety things and a brief history of the plane and we were ready for flight. I have to admit this was the most fun I've had in a long time. My ride was smooth and Trey and I spoke the whole time. He even flew over the house I was staying at so my family could see me. Thanks again Trey. You and your family were great and I appreciate the hospitality and great conversation. Next time I'm town best believe I'll be back.
So much fun! Must do for anyone visiting the coastal bend.
