We stopped in today en route to San Antonio. I am so glad we did. This is by far the best pizza crust I’ve ever had. We ordered the Rueda which consists of carne asada, jalapeños, thin slices of fresh avocado and just a hint of sauce. It was topped with fresh lime slices which we squeezed on to each piece. The crust was so light and flavorful, not doughy at all. We also had the side salad which was crisp and fresh with a yummy vinaigrette dressing. The service was amazing and the place was relaxing and very clean. I wish we had a pizzeria like this at home.
So excited that we can get yummy brick oven pizza even out in the country!! The atmosphere of Van’s Brick Oven Pizza is wonderful and fun. If you haven’t eaten there yet, give it a try because you will enjoy it.
Amazing pizza! The bacon was thick, plentiful and CRISPY. The pizza dough was evenly cooked from the crust to the center which was surprising as most places the center is hardly cooked as well I'm the center. Will DEFINITELY be going back
Very delicious pizza and nicely crisp wings. Wings took a little while and came out after pizza. Wish we had them as an appetizer but they do take a bit longer to cook. Still well worth it.
Service was great. Sadie was pleasant and attentive.
Only complaint is the ranch. It sucked. Didn’t taste homemade and was creamy not buttermilk ranchy. I’ll just bring mine next time. Maybe next weekend, again.
Yes. It’s that damn good! 😋
