Troy Washington did a phenomenal job assisting me with the sale of home of 18 years. It was a tough and emotional, yet exciting experience. Sell was during the holidays: Thanksgiving and Christmas which is the most difficult time of year to place home on the market. The virtual media of home was impressive. He is very knowledgeable about real estate sales and he was very thorough and answered all of my many questions about showings and contracts. We had the privilege of working with Troy Washington as our buyer’s agent in May 2021 during the hottest seller’s market in the past 20+ years. My family was relocating to the Dallas Metro from the Washington, DC Metro and we weren’t exactly sure which city we wanted to choose for our new home. Over the course of 4 days, Troy drove us to home after home, from the south to Mansfield, west to Flower Mound, North to McKinney, and East to Allen where we ultimately found our new home. All in we saw well over 30 houses and Troy wrote bids for 6 properties- we were competing against multiple offers on every home. We dealt with some unscrupulous seller’s agents, and some insane bidding wars, but through it all Troy remained positive, honest, and diligent. He gave sound advise and cautioned us against over bidding, even though it ultimately would have meant a bigger commission for him. Thanks to Troy we ended up getting everything we were looking for in our new home at the very bottom of our budget! Troy was not only a very qualified and knowledgeable agent, he was a pleasure to spend time with. My sister said it best, Troy Washington “is good people”. I would use him again in a heartbeat and would recommend him to anyone in need of a realtor in the DFW Metro.
