    FINAL UPDATE #3: Ok, you can read the challenges we dealt with below if you like, but here is the final verdict. This is by far one of the BEST agent's in the world! If we would have heard from her initially, we wouldn't have canceled our policies with Allstate. This agent spent about two hours tonight addressing ALL our concerns. We will miss her and believe this happened for a reason.

    UPDATE #2: Well, here we go again. Spent a lot of time today trying to get in touch with this agent with a very delayed response. I finally got a missed call from the agent and this is literally the first call have received from her in light of all the issues we have had. The message was professional and it reminded me of the past when this agent really was so responsive and made you feel important. Today, on 11/23/2020, I decided to fully cancel my Home and Auto policies after 17 years with this agent. With all the recent issues we have had, including the ones mentioned below, we decided to go with USAA. We tried reaching this agent today after countless calls to discuss this and possibly keep the Home policy, but with respect to the lack of responsiveness this helped us make the final decision to cancel both Allstate policies. This makes us sad, and we even had to call another Allstate agent in Granbury to get the cancellation finalized. We regret that this all has occurred and feel our 17 years of loyalty has not been appreciated lately.

    UPDATE: We are submitting an update to this review, because a very professional staff member of the agency went the extra mile to ensure this STRANGER was removed from our policy as of the afternoon of 11/04/2020. We updated the review to 4 stars as a result. We cannot begin to tell you how stressful this was for us to deal with, but feel it is fair to mention that the second more experienced staff member that helped us got the job done RIGHT! We hope this agency takes time to ensure this doesn't happen to anyone else they do business with and if it does happen we STRONGLY recommend they call, email, and communicate any additional driver's that are added to people's policy's. A letter alone is NOT adequate. Moreover, their has to be a better vetting process, because after dealing with this ourselves, other Allstate customers we know have mentioned this happening to them too.

    ORIGINAL REVIEW BELOW:

    We are in the process of reporting a very unprofessional an appalling mistake that Allstate has made by adding a driver to our auto policy that has absolutely NO relation to our family! We have NEVER met this person and it has caused us to question Allstate’s ethics and business practices. Moreover, we have called this agency daily since 10/27/2020 asking them to remove this person and this has not been handled with the sense of urgency it demands. This STRANGER is still on our policy (a week later on 11/02/2020 as of the time this review has been written) causing us to have a remaining balance for the premium period that is a few days from being due! We asked our insurance agency office for written documentation that this has been resolved and that the person referenced has been immediately removed from our auto policy and we NEVER got call back or email until yesterday (we have had to initiate the majority of communications)! How unprofessional, especially considering the longstanding tenure I have with this agency! We reported this at the corporate level and found out that our agency’s office did not process this fully a week ago and corporate confirmed that the required information was not submitted to fully remove this STRANGER from our policy that was added without or knowledge. We are in the process of reporting everything mentioned to the Texas Department of Insurance. We would expect that our main agent would call us and make this right, but as of now we have only had one person in this agency actually begin helping us as of yesterday. We have invested a lot of time trying to rectify the mistake Allstate made and feel like our agent has not kept us in “good hands.”

    I have been with Allstate for over 30 years and will never change insurance companies. They have been there through good and bad and I always appreciate the quick and efficient response from them. Thank you Allstate!!

    I didn't know this ALLSTATE OFFICE was here! I had to "fax" some documents to ALLSTATE CLAIMS DEPARTMENT and the young lady in the office promptly helped me by faxing them for me. Very nice, friendly and professional.
