Avalon Memory Care

When the time came that my mom could not be cared for safely at home, I had the difficult job of finding the right place for her. I visited several care homes and as soon as I found Avalon Memory Care I knew this was it. Mom has lived here now for 4 years and I don't know where I'd be without them. They are like family and they treat my mom as family. She is safe, her medications are managed, and she is surrounded by a stimulating environment. I visit as often as I can. During the Pandemic, everyone took great care to be safe. I feel so fortunate that mom is there and I'm thankful every day!

I had both of my parents in Avalon Memory Care. The staff here were very caring and compassionate not just to my parent but to all of the residents. My mother used to love joking with the ladies at her table and my dad loved the activities and music. I want to share my gratitude to all the staff as well as the directors as they assisted me and guided me every time I needed them the most. I am happy that both of my parents were here and enjoyed their stay.

My mom was happy and always well-kept and clean and most of all safe. All the employees were happy doing their jobs with purpose. They engaged with mom and made her laugh. I witnessed them always being kind and gentle and patient. In addition, Mom was well fed with their deliciously prepared food.
When people ask me about the facility I say - they all are angels sent from heaven. They set high standards and the tone for the rest of the caregivers and employees. They are extremely professional and know how to care for the residents and their special needs. All the employees are extremely happy and take their jobs in caring for the residents seriously.
My family and I came to see the employees at Avalon Memory Care as an extension of our family who only had mom’s best care in mind.

I cannot say enough good things about the fabulous staff and amenities at Avalon. They have many activities to keep seniors busy and connected if they so desire. My parents moved in 2017. The staff and caretakers there are exceptional in every way with many of them being there for over a decade! My mother lived there for almost 4 years, until her passing. I will miss the staff at Avalon as they became extended family members. They treated my parents and us like family.

After considering other assisted living facilities, we moved our 93-year-old dad to Avalon Memory Care. All of the staff are so warm and caring. They are well-trained and friendly. The welcoming living room near the dining room and open kitchen is ideal because the staff can see all of the residents at all times. The backyard is beautiful. They really encourage families to visit by planning family-friendly events and performances.
