The staff at La Dora is not only wonderful; they are family! Mother has lived there since 2015 and is doing well. COVID-19 has brought out the best in their staff.. Even before it was a pandemic, the owner was following the CDC guidelines to prevent it's spread. La Dora has been on 'lock down' from the beginning. On the porch, in front of the picture window, they've made a comfy place for families to visit. Their kindness, devotion and compassion prove that nursing homes can and should be safe places to live. Publicly, our family says 'thank you.'
I love walking into a facility and seeing happy smiling faces. The ownership takes a great consideration in making sure the residents have the best quality of life.
My favorite part about working at La Dora is how much it truly feels like home. This is a great facility and the staff here truly cares.
In my career I have worked at many facilities. I have seen the good, the bad and the down right awful. What I haven't seen till I started working at LaDora is a team of individuals who care like family. This privately owned and family run facility practices what they preach, which is we will love and care for your family like they are ours.
