Went for half price books...I get delivery from mccalisters but I dont have much else to do with this area

Always fun to dig through the shelves looking for a new adventure. On our last trip, we were unable to locate a couple books for my Daughter's school but the young man at the counter located area HPBs with our selections available to pick-up at either location for no extra charges- HOWEVER, this was not good enough for our representative. He noticed one listed in his inventory and within a couple minutes had the books in our hands. It's so appreciated to see dedication like this. Thank you!
We tried them for the first time, on-line curbside pick up. When we got home, we noticed a few items missing. I called and spoke with the Mgr. explained the issue and she ask if we wanted to come back and get the missing items ( they forgot the 2 sides of potato salad and butter), no Ma'am, it was 230 pm, Texas, 230pm in June.
She offered to send a courtesy voucher, said it would be for us both.
**Missing items or not, the food was amazing. And its tasty leftovers!!!!!
2 weeks later, (we got the voucher in 1), we called to make the order and explained the voucher, the person said, yes Ma'am , but please come in side to redeem.
When I got there, the Manager read it over, noticed it only had one dessert, and said ," you want to add another you are more than welcome to have 2, I thanked her and explained I didn't eat sweats. She looked back at the screen I believe she noticed, one order was completely vegetarian and took off my other entree. 2 entrees, 2 drinks, 2 desserts was what the voucher offered.
It wasn't huge, and I was ready to pay the difference, but I walked out of there grinning from ear to ear.
I've been in customer service for 39 years, the last 9 hospitality management.
Kudos to a Perfect sale.
And yes, the redo was complete, and even better. The potato salad by the way, worth it, and I'm picky?
