United Memorial Christian Church

A church full of nice friendly people. No creeds or beliefs you must accept to join, except that Jesus is the Christ, the son of the living God, and Lord and Saviour of the world. Small enough that you can learn everyone's name if you want to. Definitely not a megachurch. Staffed nursery for little kids, Sunday school and special programs for older kids. Prayer groups on Sunday at 8:30 a.m. and Tuesday at 6:30 p.m., the latter at members' houses. Worship services on Sunday mornings at 8:30 & 10:15, and Saturdays at 7 p.m.

This is a loving, welcoming and forgiving congregation. I left the church due to some differences in opinion and doctrine. At the time the pastor reached out and we talked but I still left. My parents remained members and this past March my Dad passed away. The memorial was here and when I walked in it was as if I never left. My Dad’s memorial became a homecoming.

If you're looking for a church to call HOME, this is the place. I have attended many, and I can truthfully say, I feel like family here. I am loved not judged, You'll feel welcomed as I have been since day 1 and going on 10 years.

Our first visit everyone was very inviting! We have four children and could not ask for a better church to teach them about the word! We are so thankful each day that the Lord brought us to UMCC!
