El Tequilas is a cozy spot with a lively atmosphere, though it can get a bit loud for its size. The staff was friendly and accommodating, but I'd caution against paying large bills unless you're prepared for potential inconvenience, as they aren't prepared for that.
The food was good overall, but nothing particularly wowed me for the $50 bill. The fajitas had good flavor, but I didn't find myself craving more. The corn tortillas weren't fresh. The pico de gallo seemed like an afterthought, with chunky tomatoes and unchopped cilantro, lacking the vibrant flavors of lime and salt that I expected. The margarita was decent, though a top-shelf price should promise something more exquisite for a nearly $14 premium, but you can get them togo.
Despite its name, the tequila selection was somewhat limited, which was surprising. Also, having Pepsi instead of Coke was a downside for me. On the positive side, the rice was tasty, and the guacamole tasted fresh.
While I wouldn't mind returning to El Tequilas because the staff I experienced were pleasant, I found that the overall experience didn't quite match the higher prices. A solid option but not one that left a lasting impression for its value.
Definition of a hole in the wall. Outside looked kinda janky, but as soon as you walk in, the restaurant looked cute. Food was delicious, the salsa was interesting but good also. Definitely recommend checking it out.
Food was great- we went for lunch. Their salsa was SO good. Will definitely be back and highly recommend!
Family owned, cute small establishment, always busy.
So much good stuff on the menu it’s hard to decide what to eat.
Love the light and crispy chips and salsa is mild.
Tres leches cheese cake about did us in. Had to roll home happy and full. Thank you.
Ok text Mex, but there were multiple fish bowl margaritas on every table. We just had the house and it was great. Strong but balanced. The salsa is fire roasted which is a nice touch and the service is great.
