Cook to order for mine. Got the family pack dark mixed with some rolls. Actually it was all for me. My family has no idea. The chicken was not too greasy. Has a nice crunch around 77 decibels. Tasty. Overall a good experience.
You know I've driven by multiple locations of Lisa's Chicken at least a hundred times and never stopped in until today. I've always wondered if the Chicken was quality or not and I must say that it's good food for sure. Not the best you will ever have, but it is good when you want something different than the fast food chains. The breading is quite nice actually and the sides are real good too. I got a 5pc tenders and they were satisfying. I think the gravy could be thickened up a little but I'm okay with it. I will definitely be back to eat here again. Update: just as good a year later!
At under $10 for a complete dinner, Lisa's offers the best value on a fried shrimp in town. They don't skimp on the shrimp.
It reminds me of a few places on the coast. Neighborhood, not tourists joints that are a bit dingy with great food.
This trip the batter on shrimp was a bit too thick and why, boil the taste out of corn on the cob, roasting would make it taste so much better.
