Mike has repaired vacuums for us in the past. Today we went by because our Dyson “came apart” when trying to empty. He walked me through putting it back together for no charge. Much appreciated!!
I bought a new carpet cleaner from Amazon and was going to return it because it wasn’t working properly. I took it here and they graciously were able to show me what was wrong. I will definitely go here for any future issues.
I've owned almost every high dollar vacuum you could think of over the past (20) years. I've always used Vacuum Depot for all my vacuum service repairs & my first Kirby, which I thought nothing could be better. Don't get me wrong, Kirby's are a great vacuum, but just like everything else, newer brands/products become available. Yet; one thing hasn't changed & that's the great service the owner, John Dettmann of Vacuum Depot, has provided all these years. Or at least the last (20) years for our family. Here's a picture of my first Kirby bought in 2000 that John serviced many times. My husband still gives me a hard time letting a door salesman sell me a $2,000 vacuum cleaner. At least we can laugh about it now.
I visited the Vacuum Depot a week before Christmas 2022 to acquire about servicing a Bissell Big Green Commercial Vacuum Cleaner Model #: BGU8000 that I just purchased from a supposed reputable seller on Ebay. Mr. Mike kindly greeted and welcomed me into the store and was very patient with answering all of my questions, concerns, and needs in regards to the vacuum. Upon further inspection and disassembly, Mr. Mike contacted me after three business days to inform me that the vacuum had a seized motor and fan assembly and that apparently the reputable Ebay seller that I brought the vacuum from sold me a defective and questionable unit. Mr. Mike quoted me a very respectable and reasonable price of about $100 to fully service, clean, and assemble the vacuum back together for optimal operation and performance. I was planning on throwing the vacuum away in the trash when Mr. Mike kindly offered to buy the defective vacuum and all of the accessories from me for a reasonable offer. I sold the vacuum on the spot in hopes that a prospective Vacuum Depot customer would end up getting a great deal on a commercial vacuum for their home or business needs. I will definitely visit the Vacuum Depot team again in the future whenever I need to purchase, service, or maintain any vacuums of my choice. Thank you so much Vacuum Depot for a wonderful customer service experience.
Awesome service!! They fixed my Dyson Stick and also helped me find the right “whole house” vacuum for my situation (2 cats!). I was very impressed with the knowledge, professionalism and friendliness of the associates (Mike is amazing).
