  This hotel was once known as The Auburn Inn. The new owners have retained most of the local/historical Auburn decor and pictures. The staff is friendly, helpful, and courteous. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The screened porch, complete with rocking chairs and always available coffee, is very inviting. We have stayed here before, under the previous ownership, and we plan to stay here again.

  Just book it! Less like a hotel than a well updated and quiet guest room in a friend's old home. Our room was accessible and had a very tall commode, shower stool, plenty of space, and was incredibly clean. We were impressed with things like how the base of the a/c was carpeted to make it blend in...no cobwebs anywhere, even on the 1800's style wrap-around porch and in the Victorian double entry. Carpentry in the lobby and breakfast nook is beautiful and makes a welcoming impression as opposed to banker's safety windows we've seen lately. The photos posted in this time range are accurate so I won't add any. Oh! GREAT breakfast options.

  Hotel was nice but not as nice as it was when we were here many years ago under the previous owner. We had booked four rooms. One room smelled of smoke & when reported to the desk, my son received an attitude about it. One room the air conditioner stopped working around 11:30pm on a very hot & humid night. Told the desk person at checkout but all they said was you should have reported it last night. There was no offer of reimbursement or anything. Overall it's a nice hotel in a decent area. But it's definitely not what it used to be.

  The hotel very nice and breakfast full of surprises. Loved the shower and room was large enough so you were not bouncing off the walls. Quiet! Everything worked!

  What a lovely hotel! It was built in the 80's to look like it was from the previous decade. Room furnishings are newer, and they've got outlets and USB ports next to the bed. The breakfast looked good, but I skipped it because it was crowded. The manager is very friendly, and she said the owner just says "do it" when she tells him something needs to be fixed. I will definitely be back!

  Good family fishing hole. Needs some more canopy around the lake to provide shade during all hours of the day.

  I walk this park daily and I'm always impressed at how clean and kept it is. The grass is always mowed and people typically return. Also, they stock the pond with bass and catfish regularly for you anglers.

  Nice park! We went around noon for a socially distant picnic on a very Hot day... Lots of room to spread out and enjoy the shade.. Loads of picnic tables and pavilions to choose from... I would assume it gets busier on cooler days.

  Really nice park. Very spacious and clean. Plenty of benches in the shades. Nice area for fishing and feeding the ducks. Hiking and biking tsils as well. Look forward to returning.

  My son loves coming here to make new friends! Play area is shaded and is very well maintained. We also love the pond area with the ducks and birds! Across the park is swimming pool, we've yet to go there!
