My son struggled with breastfeeding for five weeks after birth. We had three previous lactation consultants and a pediatrician see him, and no one could point to the root cause of our challenges. Mellanie assessed him then proceeded to assess his nursing. She gave us tips and pointed to the root cause of our poor latching problems.

Mellanie provided us with nursing and medical resources that have improved tremendously my son's nursing and overall experince.

We had a home visit with Kara during COVID -19. She came prepared, wearing a mask, keeping distance, and asking if she can approach before she did. We requested her help with our one month old baby. Kara was professional, kind, caring, and knowledgeable. She had a holistic approach: She weighed and examined the babe, helped with latching and positioning, gave tips and cues on multiple things that we feel made big difference, explained what lip tie and tongue tie were and how to correct them, and connected us with other healthcare providers.
