  I cannot begin to express my gratitude towards Ashlea for her support, guidance, wisdom, and patience with me. She believed in me from day 1 and has taught me how to believe in myself! After 9 months of consistent therapy, I can honestly say I feel the best I’ve felt in 20 years! I’ve been to numerous therapists over the years and had really given up on therapy helping because it’s so hard to find someone who really understands you. I could go on and on, but she’s absolutely amazing and her heart to help others is so huge! I can tell she loves what she does and wants her clients to succeed in their journey. She’s just the best!

  I cannot say enough good things about Ashlea Palafox. She has an incredibly warm and calming presence and has felt like a safe place since our first session. I always feel like I’m being heard, and she has really given me a lot of insight into my behavioral patterns and past. Ashlea has helped me tremendously to heal, and truly begin to make positive changes in my life. I am so thankful for her help and cannot recommend her enough.

  We decided it was time for our son to talk to someone because of his temper and inability to prevent these angry episodes from occurring. Really getting upset for insignificant things. In our situation, it was mainly related to his siblings and playing games with neighborhood kids. My son is 12 and the oldest of 3 - he does great at school and basically all other settings. I point that out because I still think it's important for kids to have an outlet and develop behavioral skills that will carry them through adulthood - even if it effects a small sliver of their life I searched online and read several websites, reviews, etc. We came across Dr. Messina and can we are so glad we did! My son was instantly at ease and open with Dr. Messina (as were we) which I think is critical in these settings. We had weekly visits for a few months and Dr. Messina helped our son recognize thought patterns, develop new approach, which ultimately led to much improvement in his behavior. I highly recommend Dr. Messina. You're in great hands.

  Dr. Messina has been very helpful for our family. He is calm, friendly, good with kids, knowledgeable and not so stereotypically therapist-y (if you know what I mean).

  Dr. Messina is a warm and compassionate therapist who helped my family in our time of need. He was always responsive, friendly and relatable to my teen (and his parents), and provided great tips and insight for anxiety/OCD. Highly recommend.
