Medica Health Management

I worked for Medica Health and Cuidado Casero HH&H for many years. I was able to start as a Receptionist at Cuidado moved up the ranks and ended being the Corporate IT Manager. When I resigned it was not because I felt an aversion toward anyone, it was because sometimes you have to try something new and keep your eyes on the horizon. Yes it is tough and they do expect a great deal, it was worth it for me. I was able to practically be mentored by the CEO. I do not have any regrets working there. Yes they expect all salaried personnel to punch in, that was not a big deal to me. They know how hard I worked coming in weekends taking home work and I was paid very well for that work. I was given so many opportunities to contribute to the company and I will be forever grateful for the trust it took to hand me those projects and knowledge I gained from those experiences. I learned about Communication, Human Resources, Help Desk, Web Design, App Development, Research and Development, Management, how to put my IT skills to use, and so much more. You bet they have high expectations, they give so much more back for the work you put in. Yes you have to have thick skin, you should know the corporate life is not for the faint of heart. People in the corporate office are working their tails off for the company and when the company is doing well the people not only have a stable job, the CEO also ensures the employees are taken care of and you do not find that everywhere. They truly care about their clients and the reason the company was founded will always be the heart of Medica Health/Cuidado Casero.

Medica Health Management is a great place to work. The company has afforded me opportunities for growth that I may not have experienced with another institution. This nurse owned, family run business has been in business for 23 years. They do not advertise on television, word of mouth has been their best marketing tool. Patient and family satisfaction has driven this business to success. Many of the companies leaders have been employed for 20+ years. The company often promotes from within giving field staff an opportunity for management. The team at Medica will spend countless hours training and mentoring these new young leaders. I am grateful for the opportunity to work with such a talented team of individuals. I anticipate continued success from the Medica team, the agencies we serve and the patients we care for.

The confidential employee rating this company a "one star" is like reading "fake news". First- Your not CONFIDENTIAL. We know who you are. Let me challenge your comments and your audacity to speak about a woman minority owned firm doing "family" business. It is a family business and it has been taking care of our neighbors and friends for over 25 years serving this community, my community.

They invest in and on employees and if they didn't common sense says they wouldn't be in business in this long...
It's one thing to be upset about being let go (and for the record when you get a six figure salary-you are expected to produce---again common sense) but it is another level when you bad mouth this company.
