(April 30, 2022, 6:21 pm)Nice quiet community park. Doesn't really have a playground, does have some monkey bars. But has a nice big field we flew kites in. Also has a basketball court and sidewalk all of the way around for a easy walk & some nice benches .

(October 12, 2019, 9:55 pm)This is a very nice tribute to my father in law. I know some folks wish there was just a little more to this park so that it would be utilized more. The simplicity of the park is pretty much a compliment to my father in law. Ray was a very simple , frugal , hardworking , man of faith and family man.
My husband , Ray's middle child & I live in Denton . Several times we have thought of simply bringing the family there for a day if fun & burgers as Ray would have liked for us to do. The only thing that keeps us from doing so is the lack of facilities & running water.
I love the idea of an added dog park , that would be so cool . Maybe someday that will come true for those who walk their dogs.
I hope to ask to see how we can possibly donate a tree , two or maybe three of the loved ones who have passed since Ray's passing. His wife Betty , his daughter in law Robin & his first born Troy Anthony. I think this would be the best place to memorialize his loved ones & also provide more shade to those who do use the park especially in the Summer.

Splash Pad | Watauga, TX - Official Website
Monday - Sunday 9:00 AM - 10:00 PM. The Splash Pad is open to the public and has three cabanas that are available during operating hours. You can secure the cabanas for birthday parties and events.
