In the 11 years I have studied under Ms. Julia, she has taught me many valuable lessons. During this time with her, I have developed a passion for music. I have grown so much as a person and have become an accomplished pianist because of her. Ms. Julia is a great piano teacher because of her straightforward, yet patient, teaching style. She has encouraged me and her other students to challenge themselves so we can do our best and accomplish up to our full potential. Ms. Julia Hsiao has been teaching piano to my children for 11 and 7 years respectively. They started with her as beginners. She is a dedicated music professional who is caring, patient, and tailors the lessons to fit the unique needs of each child. She has a goal, first and foremost, for every child to have a lifelong appreciation for music. For those students who are willing and interested, she prepares them very well for piano festivals & competitions at the local, state, national, and international level. She is very organized, a good communicator, and is generous with her time. I feel fortunate to have found such an outstanding enthusiastic teacher of music.
