Paige Trabulsi Doula

Paige was an incredible asset before and during the birth of our son. She has a unique way to sense our needs and wants during the birth without being obtrusive, and asked questions that enabled us to consider all aspects of the birth beforehand. My husband was skeptical about the value a doula could bring, but afterwards said Paige was the best support person he could have asked for and can't imagine our birth without her support, care, and guidance. Paige provided gentle and caring postpartum services, and provided wonderful resources to ensure the fourth trimester was as smooth as possible. We love Paige and know you will too!

Paige's presence at my birth was exactly what I needed to feel prepared and calm. Her experience ushering the births of many, many babies left me and my husband feeling confident we had the support we needed to navigate the unknown-to-us waters of labor and delivery. And her natural way of bringing a sense of serenity to the room enabled me to be emotionally present for one of life's most significant and holy moments. From sharing in the excitement and anticipation of the birthing process during the weeks leading up to the big day, to helping us know when to head to the hospital once my contractions began, to pain management and laboring support (and holding my hand) in the big moment, to capturing a video of the moment my child was placed on my chest, to the caring communication and visits postpartum, Paige was there for me and my family. She was integral to our positive birthing experience; I am amazed that someone who was but a stranger to me only weeks prior to the birth of my child is someone who I will always love and appreciate for being part of what is such a personal and intimate experience. Paige is a very special person and doula.

Paige was our Doula for the home birth of both our daughters. She was calm and comforting and knew exactly what my wife needed at every moment to push forward during labor. I was very grateful for her presence and guidance during the process.

Paige was our doula for the home birth of our daughter two years ago. As soon as we met her at our first prenatal visit, both my husband Dale and I knew that she was the perfect partner to have with us on this journey. Her warm demeanor made us both feel comfortable immediately, allowing us to openly discuss our excitement as well as any concerns we had surrounding the entire birth process.
Paige's knowledge on prenatal care, birth and the postpartum period were invaluable to us. Her calm and positive presence played an essential role at the birth of our daughter. While the birth itself was fast and furious, having Paige there immediately calmed my entire body and slowed the pace of everything--which was definitely needed!
Paige stayed with us for the first few hours after Loretta was born making sure breastfeeding was underway, I was fed (literally...she fed me soup while the baby nursed), and all of our immediate needs were met. She returned a few days later to check in on us, as well as a couple weeks after that. The immediate postpartum care that Paige offered was so important to us. Her constant presence kept us calm and able to focus on the baby as well as my own healing.
I cannot say enough about the positivity and peaceful energy that Paige brought to our entire birth process. We are forever grateful and can't wait to use her again for the birth of our second this summer!

Paige is an amazing doula. She was present with me for my second birth in a hospital, and she was so supportive, calm and steady. She's an incredibly caring person, and she was always very responsive to my emails and calls when I had weeks of prodromal labor. She accompanied me to an appointment with my ob/midwife before my birth to get to know my medical team, which I appreciated. During the birth, she was a great source of comfort, peace and strength and helped me to achieve the natural birth that I wanted. She always believed in me and her kindness did so much to help assuage my fears. She's very well connected in the Austin birth community, is very knowledgeable and always had good resources as well. I highly recommend Paige!!
