This is a relatively short trail in Austin. However good things come in small sizes. I'd recommend going early morning to avoid the sun. Also you can watch a sunrise along the Austin skyline.
Was a fun ride would do it again
The trails need traffic! I ran through a lot of the new mtb trails and they could use more tread marks to wear in the trail and make it awesome. There’s some really promising sections, but it’s still super fresh and needs more love.
The south section of the Country Club Creek Greenbelt mountain bike trail is now open. Check it out! The north section of the trail should be open after the trail building event on Nation Trails Day on June 1.
Very secluded, although you can hear the roar of Been White Blvd over everything. The high pressure natural gas pipeline unfortunately is exposed at some points, which could lead to a catastrophic rupture.
